the lack of criticism in translation market and production of social sciences books

the lack of active academic publishers in the domain of social science translation has made the private publishers override the public publishers in the quality of published translations. the atmosphere of translation criticism in the country is not in place and most of the time,publishersemploy the unskilled translators to translate the books with regard to the fame of an author or a subject and finally, the publication of books do not have the necessary functions for their readers. amid these, at least in recent two decades, the private publishers of iran have tried to create a long term current of social sciences books translations. the addressees of this domain have also welcomed this process and in most cases, even the translators who have been faculty members of the universities have given their books to these publishers.
